Our wine picks for Valentine’s Day:

Stolpman Vineyards “Love You Bunches” 2019
*Made of 100% Sangiovese grapes through carbonic maceration, this is Stolpman’s rendition of the Beaujolais Nouveau-style wines of France. Fresh, fruity, and joyful is one way to describe this wine. A medley of juicy red cherry, blueberry, bubblegum, caramel-covered apple, strawberry preserves, a slight zest of blood orange zing, with a surprisingly dry finish. Serve this one with a slight chill to make the most out of that fresh and lip-smacking berry goodness*

Lumen Pinot Noir 2016
*Only a few wines can capture the ambiance we aim for on Valentine’s Day, and Pinot Noir is without a doubt a logical choice for this occasion. The warm days and cool ocean-breeze nights of Santa Barbara produce a Pinot Noir full of fitness, vibrant fruit, and balanced acidity. Filled with scents of sweet roses, fresh hibiscus, rose hips, raspberry, cherry, red plum, delicate spices, wild thyme, and lightly toasted oak. Medium-light bodied on the palate, with freshly-picked raspberry and strawberry, hints of blue fruits, anise, cardamom, sweet peppercorns, sandalwood, leading to a dry and slightly earthy finish with hard stone minerals and fine-grained tannins. This makes a perfect bottle for a gift or for that special dinner*

Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé
*Need something extra special for Valentine’s Day? This rosé Champagne is one of our favorites and you can’t go wrong with some bubbles to finish off the night. This Champagne features a zesty mixture of citrus, golden raspberries, pink fruits, and strawberry, with plenty of lees character which comes through as fresh bread, nougat, almond butter, and sesame paste. The texture is creamy and smooth with finely tight bubbles, plenty of acid, and that classic seashell, fossil, and calcium minerality of fine Champagne. There is a great length of flavor that carries on past the bone-dry finish*
