Oregon Ramato, Another Georgian Orange Wine and Mosel Riesling:

James Rahn Wine Company Dion Vineyard Pinot Gris 2019
*New vintage has just arrived! Same concept as before with the traditional Ramato-style; a style of winemaking originating from Friuli, Italy, macerating Pinot Gris (Pinot Grigio) grapes on their skins producing a rosé-colored wine. Notes of pickled watermelon and sour cherry come through, while retaining the ripe strawberry character from before along, with spice, pepper, red apple skin, cherry pit, and an added dry leather and mushroom quality from the wild yeast. Medium-light body with a bit of lemon and limestone in the mineral finish*

Vinoterra Kakheti Mtsvane White 2017
*Another Orange Wine addition to the shop; traditional amphora-fermented and skin contact wine (6 months on the skins, stems and seeds). Lots going on in this one: orange citrus, dried apricots, persimmon, hints of vanilla bean, green cardamom, lemony thyme, incense, spice box, wild flowers, and chamomile. Medium-bodied with lightly puckering tannins and an acidic tartness in the long finish*

Selbach-Oster Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spätlese 2017
* The fruit for this Riesling comes from one of the best vineyards in Mosel, Zeltinger Sonnenuhr. This Riesling explodes with a wide range of tropical and orchard fruits: pineapple, apricot, peach, kiwi, lime, kumquat, and quince, all drizzled with a light layer of golden honey and surrounded by an air of smokey minerals. The mouthfeel is always so elegantly textured, round, rich, silky and cut through with snappy sweet-tart acidity and a very long mineral and fruity finish which has you licking your gums after every sip*
