This year’s blend contains: 52% Chardonnay, 27% Chenin Blanc, 17% Pinot Gris (Skin Fermented), 4% Riesling Piquete (Skin Fermented), and 1 % Orange Muscat (Skin Fermented). The color for this year’s blend looks more on the blushed peach color compared to the pale yellow of last year. Peach/apricot and tropical notes with layers of pineapple and flowers. *Mainly Syrah at 80% of the blend with 5% each of four Portuguese varieties (Tinta Caõ, Tinta Roriz aka Tempranillo, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Barroa). Medium-light and juicy with a burst of black cherries, dark currants, violets, black pepper, tar and hints of earth. Slightly chewy tannins for such a fresh and easy-drinking wine. Plum jam, cranberry, and a touch of spice in the background lingers on the palate*

*Another stellar Pét-Nat from Stella Crinita, this time a sparkling Rosé made with 100% Cabernet Franc also sourced from Demeter Certified Biodynamic farms, and produced in the low-intervention philosophy. Tart cherry flavors mix with raspberry jam, red apple skin, rhubarb, leafy greens and herbs. Intriguing to say the least, it drinks similar to a sparkling red wine, and this is a great option when looking for something that’s dry and less fruity than your typical Lambrusco*
