Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel 500ML

Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel

Our bock beer classic from the Holy Mountain is world famous and will inspire you too. Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel stands for the centuries-old Benedictine art of brewing. Traditionally brewed with real dark roasted malts.

The taste is slightly sparkling, full-bodied and velvety. A fine sweetness of dark chocolate spoils the palate. Our Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel is the ideal accompaniment to dishes with intense and strong flavors, such as pasta with pointed cabbage in a Roquefort creme fraiche sauce.

A culinary delight is experienced when cocoa notes in the dessert meet the mighty malt body of the Doppelbock.

Appearance: Dark, fiery copper tone, brilliantly clear, fine-pored foam

Scent: Soft roasted aromas, caramel, fruity (dried fruit)

Aroma: Full-bodied and velvety taste with a clear sweetness. Slight hop bitterness, powerful malt body combined with a roasted cocoa note. The bittersweet chocolate note remains pleasantly long in the finish.

Bitterness: Slight hop bitterness, intensive cocoa note

Food pairings: Dishes with expressive, bold aromas and flavors

Our Andechs monastery brewery has been combining Benedictine brewing tradition with modern brewing technology for centuries. The brewery of the Benedictine monastery, founded in 1455, is one of the last real monastery breweries that is still run completely independently of the group by a lively religious community.

Traditional brewing and the use of exquisite ingredients from the region form the basis for the high quality of our Andechs monastery beers. Malt comes exclusively from malthouses selected by us in a multi-stage process. The best Hallertau aroma hops and fresh pure yeast ensure the unique taste of our beer specialties. In our brewing process, we attach great importance to time, which allows us to preserve our unmistakable and highest beer quality.
