Our Andechs monastery brewery has been combining Benedictine brewing tradition with modern brewing technology for centuries. The brewery of the Benedictine monastery, founded in 1455, is one of the last real monastery breweries that is still run completely independently of the group by a lively religious community. Traditional brewing and the use of exquisite ingredients from the region form the basis for the high quality of our Andechs monastery beers. Malt comes exclusively from malthouses selected by us in a multi-stage process. The best Hallertau aroma hops and fresh pure yeast ensure the unique taste of our beer specialties. In our brewing process, we attach great importance to time, which allows us to preserve our unmistakable and highest beer quality.
