Reviews
Vinus – “Antoniolo Gattinara Riserva 2016 is fabulous. A wine of stature and depth, the 2016 is seriously impressive right out of the gate. There’s tremendous power and intensity, all in the vertical style that is the signature of the best wines here. Dark cherry, sage, mint, plum, spice, lavender and dried herbs open with a bit of coaxing. In a word: superb.” (94 Pts)
Wine Spectator – “Cherry, licorice, eucalyptus and tar aromas and flavors signal this ripe red. Midpalate has a core of fruit before the finish ushers in the dusty tannins. A mineral element underlines it all. Best from 2024 through 2042.” (93 Pts)
