Our Aussie friends at Balter Brewing came over from Queensland to brew a new-to-us style of beer and we are STOKED with the results!

An XPA is an extra pale version of a pale ale with a higher, yet balancing bitterness, lighter malt profile and color, and a brighter hop experience.

While it is a very sessionable, crushable beer at only 5.3%, it still carries a medium body & finish.

Your favorite smiley face can is back! 😊 We had to brew this one again in 2024, because we know y’all can’t get enough of these XPA’s!

And who could blame ya? Everything you love about an IPA, but in a brighter, lighter, lower ABV package. Tinnies is a rad collab that we first did last year with our friends from Down Under @balterbrewers , who brought with them this regional beer style and their Aussie slang (it’s in the name).

Coming in at a crushable 5.3%, Tinnies gets its bright, hop-forward character from solid doses of Riwaka, Mosaic Cryo, HBC 586, & Strata.
