The Benedictine monks of Ettal Monastery have been brewing their much-praised specialties since the 16th century. Using fine malt and hops from Bavarian growing areas, specialty beers are brewed with the crystal-clear and pure water of the Ammer Mountains in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law.
