The Sagrantino di Montefalco by Milziade Antano is a red wine of great personality, focused, exuberant and powerful. A great example of Sagrantino which was created thanks to the passion, care and dedication of Francesco Antano, called “The Artisan of Sagrantino”.
FOOD & WINE PAIRING
Pairs particularly well with meat based dishes, including wild game. Also a delightful accompaniment to well aged cheese and cured meats.
Planted since 1975, the Antano family’s vines are planted with Sagrantino (a tannic red grape that is native to Umbria) and Sangiovese on clay soils that are rich in minerals. Located in the town of Montefalco, Milziade Antano is in one of the two DOCG designated wine regions in Umbria, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG.
