Half Acre has half of our heart. We all go way back even before the dawn of Fremont Brewing. Matt and Gabe started Half Acre just before Matt Lincecum started Fremont Brewing. We all stayed in contact as we poured our hearts and souls into launching our breweries. We refer to ourselves as sister breweries because we share the same culture, beer style, and are on a similar trajectory.

We have a deep appreciation and admiration for our friendship with Matt, Gabe, and the rest of the Half Acre crew. We have shared a lot of secrets to success over the years and have enjoyed our friends grow, develop, and make amazing beers! We have talked about making a beer together, and the day has finally come! This collaboration has been put on hold for the past two years, and now we bring you Ectoplasm IPA!
