Racing Yellow’s base recipe has its roots in the first West Coast IPA that I produced as a Head Brewer eight years ago. These classic Pacific Northwest hops have overtones of citrus and pine along with undertones of blueberry and tropical fruit. Continuous evolution is the idea behind this West Coast IPA like the color it was named after that evolved from its predecessor Speed Yellow.
