Gold Dot Rice Lager

A collaboration with the master brewers of SakéOne, the finest saké producers in the US. We brewed this rice lager to be extra pale, dry and sparkling.

Calrose rice and SakéOne’s Koji make up 40% of the grist. It is then coupled with a pale American malt and gently hopped to allow the chestnut aroma to the foreground.

In November of 2022 Lisa and her partner Kevin Davey (founding brew master at Wayfinder Beer) purchased a majority share of Heater Allen from Rick and in March of 2023 announced the launch of their own brand, Gold Dot Beer. Lisa and Kevin will continue to make Heater Allen beers and are in the process of adding a new cellar to increase production.
