Andrew Will Involuntary Commitment Red Blend 2020
The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks with all native yeasts and aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels.
We believe that with so much such great fruit coming out of our vineyards it would be shame not to spread the wealth. This medium body wine exhibits a dark garnet color with a bouquet of dark fruit, herbs, earth and hints of tobacco. On the palate, flavors of cherry, red currants and spices shine through. This wine is fresh, youthful and ready to drink, though will cellar nicely through the next 5 years.
Composition: 55% Cabernet Franc, 26% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon
AVA: Columbia Valley AVA, Washington State, USA
Time in barrels: 11 Months (100% Neutral French Oak Barrels)
Vinification: Fermented in Stainless Steel, Native Yeast, No Fining or Filtering
Reviews
Vinous – “The 2020 Involuntary Commitment Red Blend is a fantastic entry-level red blend by one of Washington’s great young winemakers, Will Carmada. Mocha anise, baking spices and suggestions of tar all come together brilliantly. Firm tannins and good tension meld everything together very well. Enjoy this beautiful wine over the next seven years.” (91 Pts)
