Involuntary Commitment is a project in Washington State that is “committed” to producing premium wine from top Vineyards from the Columbia Valley. The idea behind this project was the forecast of a larger than expected harvest. With a combination of great weather, vine maturity and timing we created a wine that shows all the nuances of premier Washington State grapes that will drink wonderfully right out of the bottle.

The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks with all native yeasts and aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels.
We believe that with so much such great fruit coming out of our vineyards it would be shame not to spread the wealth. This medium body wine exhibits a dark garnet color with a bouquet of dark fruit, herbs, earth and hints of tobacco. On the palate, flavors of cherry, red currants and spices shine through. This wine is fresh, youthful and ready to drink, though will cellar nicely through the next 5 years.
Composition: 55% Cabernet Franc, 26% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon
AVA: Columbia Valley AVA, Washington State, USA
Time in barrels: 11 Months (100% Neutral French Oak Barrels)
Vinification: Fermented in Stainless Steel, Native Yeast, No Fining or Filtering
