A banana & date mead with toasted hazelnuts, toasted walnuts, cinnamon, vanilla & candy cap mushrooms.

The most honest way to describe this mead is… it’s a very Lost Cause take on a simple banana dessert mead. There’s nothing simple about it, and the end result is a decadent French Toast with Bananas Foster covered in Maple Syrup mead that all comes together wonderfully (yes, this one is very sweet).

Another way to describe this mead… OG Chasing Alice but with bananas and nuts. The batch of candy caps we used for this mead reminds us a lot of our original Chasing Alice, with intense notes of maple syrup that almost overpower the banana a bit in the nose. It’s all there in the taste though, and if you want a rich, boozy, breakfast dessert in a glass, this is your jam.

Profile: Liquid French toast. Rum barrel aged maple syrup. Caramelized bananas, caramel, toffee, and all the good things in life.
