Deep ruby red in color, the Pont de Gassac is the “bridge” connecting the Moulin de Gassac line to the Daumas Gassac Crus. (pont means bridge in French).
This blend of Syrah, Cab, Merlot and a smidge of Grenache is expressive, complex and round with powerful red berry notes and subtle spice.

Produced primarily from the younger estate vines, complemented with some purchased fruit, we were very impressed with this “little” Gassac wine. Dark ruby red hews coat the glass of this expressive, complex and spicy wine. The tannins are ripe and well integrated with a nice gritty texture making this a gorgeous southern style claret suitable for drinking over the next 3-5 years. Great value!
