While we are always proud of our Homegrown hops from Blucher Valley Hops right here in Sonoma County, we teamed up with our friends Crosby Hops to add some extra dank and juicy zip to this years beer.

Combining the best in the west coast in this years wet hop beer.

As with all of our beers, this cold conditioned ale sits for an extra few weeks in the brite tank for maximum hop flavor with all the sticky and dreamy floral notes that you’ve come to love from Homegrown of yesteryear.

HOPS: Chinook, Amarillo, Cascade, Strata, and whatever feral Sebastapool varieties are in there!

Our brewery and processes are on the traditional pre-industrial side. We use a single-step infusion mash and boil in a direct fire copper kettle. Our resulting ales and lagers are mostly Continental, British, and post-modern American. The myriad of malts and hops we play with come from Europe and North America in our never-ending pursuit of delicious beer.

Gluten Reduced Beer
During the fermentation process to all our beers, we add an enzyme called clarity firm. This enzyme assists in breaking down the gluten in each batch. It should be noted that we don’t send every batch of beer to the lab for analysis, therefore we cannot label our beer as “Certified Gluten Reduced”. However we do receive many testimonials from gluten-sensitive individuals who have been able to enjoy a pint of Moonlight Brewing beer and have very little to no reaction.
