The Orgo Saperavi represents a true elegance of a balanced Saperavi. This wine is made from 80 year old vines. The wine is fermented and aged in Qvevri (Large clay jars).
Notes of currant, black cherry followed by earthy notes of tobacco and chocolate. A great balance of fresher fruits and robust notes finishing with firm but manageable tannins.

Teleda Orgo Saperavi 2023
Gogi and Temuri Dakishvili source the grapes from Kurdgelauri and Tsinandali villages in the Telavi district, on the right bank of the Alazani River. It’s style is robust, yet smooth with more refined tannin structure. It is a one of a kind old vine Saperavi.

Fermentation: Qvevri
Aging: Qvevri and stabilization in stainless steel
Yeast: Wild/Airborne
Sulfites: Low – Very small amounts added after completion of malolactic fermentation
