Grino is a mythological figure, but in some dialects of central Italy it is used to indicate two diametrically opposed things: a person of very high or very low “value”. In short, a “phenomenon”!
It is an extravagant and controversial wine obtained from spontaneous fermentation with maceration for 3-5 days, unclarified and aged in concrete tanks for 8 months.
The slightly more than pink color gives it character. On the nose, spices and fruit prevail. The mouth starts out rounded and ends with a nice final tannin. Offered in a fun one-litre bottle.

Poderi Cellario E Grino! 2022 (1-Liter)
100% Grignolino. Hand-harvested into small bins. Spontaneous fermentation with 5 to 8 days maceration. Aged in 100hl cement & fiberglass tanks for 6 to 8 months until bottling. Bottled with minimal sulphur (~10ppm) and without sterile filtering or fining.
