Our first vintage using 100% estate vineyard plantings for our signature So Far Out Chillable Red.

We were lucky to have our grapes ready on the same day, allowing us to co-ferment and integrate flavors early. The fruit was fermented with our native yeast strain, pressed just prior to dryness, and finished in tank or barrel to soften those edges.

Aged in neutral oak or stainless steel for 16 months before bottling.

Candied raspberry and red licorice ropes, with a splash of cranberry juice cocktail and a hint of menthol.

37% Marselan, 24% Petite Sirah, 24% Grenache, 15% Petit Manseng

Cooperage:
65% neutral French oak, 35% stainless steel

Fermentation:
A blend of three lots fermented together from two vineyards in Santa Barbara County. All the fruit was destemmed and fermented wildly in open top bins for 10 to 14 days and then pressed to stainless and neutral barrels.
