Source and Sink Red Field Blend Sonoma Valley 2020
At 400 ft in elevation, our Kimberley Vineyard (Kenwood) grows low yielding and structured Zinfandel.
In what is known to locals as the “banana belt” the Bedrock Vineyard in Glen Ellen, hosts sun baked Petite Sirah and Alicante Bouschet.
A “diamond in the rough” Old Vine planting from 1906 known as Casa Santinamaria is composed of 13 varietals all of which are picked & co-fermented, a natural fit for our flagship wine.
This wine covers a lot of ground, but truly represents why these heritage varieties grow to perfection in Sonoma Valley.
Gravel, alluvial riverbed, Huichica clay, Tuscan cobbles
All wine lots are picked and fermented seperatley with spontaneous yeast. Aged in 225L neutral French oak barrels for 10 months & bottle aged another 6. The finished blend is racked once before bottling, unfined and unfiltered.
