Urban Roots Like Riding a Bike West Coast IPA

When we first opened Urban Roots in 2018 it had been a while since our co-founder and brewmaster Peter Hoey had put on his boots and brewed. Peter spent seven years working at BSG prior to opening Urban Roots but someone with his experience and knowledge never forgets their craft.

During one of his first brew days, Rob popped into the brewery and asked Peter, “How’s it going?“.

Peter’s response, “It’s like riding a bike.”

And that’s how Urban Roots Like Riding a Bike, our award-winning West Coast IPA, was named.
