A gorgeous example of Nebbiolo from this pre-Alpine region of northern Piedmont. This classic grape here takes on a more refined, elegant and floral expression, for wines that are seductive from the first sip. This early-drinking Nebbiolo is a salve for body and soul!
Vinous – “The 2017 Nebbiolo Monteregio is a very pretty introductory offering from Tiziano Mazzoni. In 2017, it has a bit more flesh and radiance, which is not at all a bad thing for this usually much more nervous wine. Ample and generous, but with plenty of translucency, the 2017 is an absolute joy to taste. Dried red cherry, orange peel, spice and dried flowers all meld together in a soft, open-knit wine that is already incredibly delicious and expressive. This is always such a pretty and overachieving wine.” (90 Pts)
