Originally brewed at Pizza Port OB, Bacon & Eggs has become a favorite amongst Pizza Port fans. For 2022 Bacon & Eggs, we worked closely with Bird Rock Coffee Roasters to come up with an updated coffee blend.

Added to the original blend of Ethiopian and Sumatran coffee varietals is a Colombian medium roast. The result is a more complex but well-rounded coffee blend for the beer. In summary, it’s three separate lots from 3 different countries of origin, and features three different processing methods (washed, natural, and wet-hulled). Each origin and processing contribute different elements to the final flavor profile. The Ethiopia Natural brings citrus and berry fruitiness, the Colombia Tolima brings chocolate and brown sugar sweetness, and the Sumatra brings earthy and spicy aromatics.
